I’m Sofia, a Seattle wedding photographer with European roots and a refined editorial eye.

I was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Russia, a city shaped by classical architecture, symmetry, and intentional beauty. Growing up surrounded by historic design and visual culture quietly trained my eye long before I ever picked up a camera. I learned to value structure, light, balance, and detail.

In 2013, I moved to the United States in pursuit of my own version of the American Dream. Years later, here in Washington State, I found photography and with it, the creative language I had been searching for.

To me, photography is less about what you see and more about how an image makes you feel years later.

I am obsessed!! Sofia not only knows how to work the camera, capturing a diverse set of moments, but she also understands how to work with people to curate romantic and authentic images. Sofia’s true talent came to light when it started to pour rain in the middle of our shoot, allowing her to pivot and turn our lives into a real life romcom! For all that have seen Sofia's work and had that little voice inside them saying they'd LOVE to have a photo shoot with her, don't even think twice about it!! I was absolutely IN LOVE with my wedding photos that she shot for us recently!!! So much that many of our friends, myself included, revisited the beauty of the photos several times in a day.
