I’m Sofia, a wedding and couples photographer based in Seattle, Washington. Originally from Saint Petersburg, Russia, I moved to the U.S. in 2013 in pursuit of the American Dream.

My path to photography wasn’t linear. For years, I explored different majors and career directions while searching for something meaningful and creatively fulfilling. Everything changed in 2019 when I picked up my first camera. What began as a simple hobby, photographing friends, quickly grew into a deep passion and the foundation of my life’s work.

Today, I specialize in documenting love stories filled with sincerity, emotion, and genuine connection. My style blends a true to color, film inspired aesthetic with a relaxed and candid approach. I create timeless images that feel warm, nostalgic, and deeply personal. These are the kinds of photographs that hold meaning long after the moment has passed.

I am obsessed!! Sofia not only knows how to work the camera, capturing a diverse set of moments, but she also understands how to work with people to curate romantic and authentic images. Sofia’s true talent came to light when it started to pour rain in the middle of our shoot, allowing her to pivot and turn our lives into a real life romcom!
